Former Member of Parliament and Former Minister of State for External Affairs, Government of India, Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi Ji, has officially taken charge as the Chairperson of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India (DCCBI).
The appointment letter was formally presented to Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi Ji during the Divyang Cricket Awards Ceremony held in Agra, marking a significant milestone in the journey of Divyang cricket in India.
The appointment letter was presented in the presence of senior office bearers of DCCBI by President Shri Mukesh Kanchan, Chairman – Wheelchair Cricket Unit Dr. Bhagwan Talware, General Secretary Shri Haroon Rasheed, and Treasurer Shri Durgesh Sharma.
Her leadership and guidance are expected to further strengthen the development, recognition, and promotion of Divyang cricket across the country and provide new opportunities for talented Divyang cricketers to represent India at national and international levels.
