At the invitation of Disability Cricket Sri Lanka, the Indian Divyang Cricket Team toured Sri Lanka to play three T20 Internationals and one Test Match.
From 4th to 6th May, the historic second-ever Test match in the history of Divyang Cricket was played at the Aron Cricket Club Ground, Horana, Sri Lanka. The first-ever Divyang Cricket Test match had been played between India and Nepal in Agra, India, where the Indian team registered a memorable innings victory.
Continuing their outstanding form, the Indian Divyang Cricket Team delivered another remarkable performance in Sri Lanka. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, India declared at 345/6. Wicketkeeper-batter Rahul Sharma and Munaf Patla achieved the milestone of their maiden centuries, scoring 101 and 100 respectively. Experienced all-rounder Kailash Prasad added a quick-fire 54 runs, strengthening India's commanding total.
In reply, Sri Lanka fought hard but managed 144/6 by the close of play. Indian captain Syed Shah Aziz led from the front with three wickets, while Mohsin Sheikh, Rajesh Jaddu, and Sajid Tamboli claimed one wicket each.
Although the match officially ended in a draw due to the completion of the scheduled playing time, India secured victory on the basis of their first-innings lead. In recognition of their dominant performance, the Sri Lankan captain presented the Winner's Trophy to the Indian Divyang Cricket Team, marking another historic achievement for Indian Divyang Cricket.
